We started off at 9am after the two lorries had left with all our belongings. The old house was empty and we had slept on the floor in sleeping bags the night before. It was our very last night in this house.
We had to arrive at Loughor by 1pm as the telephone guy would be there to connect the broadband. Ingke got a bit anxious on the way down as the traffic was heavy and it looked like we were going to be late. I told Ingke not to worry as God was going with us. 5 minutes after we had this conversation, Ingke's mobile rang - it was the telephone man! He was calling to ask if he could come either earlier or later, so Ingke said we were in heavy traffic and it would be best to come later. Thank you Lord!
We arrived at about 2pm and met up with Jan, our lovely new landlord. After exchanging paperwork and keys, the 2 lorries turned up with our stuff. None of us had eaten so I offered to drive into Llanelli and pick up a McDonalds for everyone including the workmen.
When I got back, almost all the stuff had been unloaded from the lorries and so we all sat in the kitchen to eat. Durung the conversation one of the workmen asked us why we had moved down. I opened up and spoke of my faith and how God had lead us down to Wales. Through that conversation we learned that both morkmen were Christians who attended the local Elim church in Llanelli! They said that they would pray for us!!
Our first night here was SO peaceful. God has truely blessed us with our new home!
